Paulo Alves is a photographer who currently lives and works in Porto, Portugal.
Between 1979 and 1998, he lived and worked in Venezuela, where he pursued studies in music, theater, and contemporary dance, while also developing his writing skills at Cecilio Acosta Catholic University.
In 1994, he worked at the FM 90.9 radio station La Onda Serena, and in 1995 he began working as a producer and presenter of the TV Show, Señales de Humo on NCTV channel 11.
Later, in Portugal, he earned a degree in Law from Lusíada University in Porto and completed a professional photography studies at IPF, the Portuguese Institute of Photography.
He also earned a degree in Artistic and Professional Portfolio Design, from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
