As the pandemic evolved, Portugal declared several States of Emergency, freedoms and guarantees were limited, borders were closed.
People were trapped at home, in isolation. Schools closed, businesses went bankrupt.
Only basic services were authorised to remain open during this period, anyone who could walk in the street was forced to wear a mask and no one kissed or hugged anymore.
